Pomegranates (رمان) are described in the Quran as one of the fruits of Jannah. Not only is it a heavy part of Islam, but it’s also treasured in Arab households. Pomegranates are one of the very well known fruits grown in Palestine and it along with the keffiyeh, which symbolizes Palestine’s connection to the sea, are often used to symbolize solidarity with Palestine.
